With the existing congestion at the intersection of Route 1 and Dartmouth Drive, the developer of Lefty’s reserved the right to provide an access road to his facility. This road would provide a secondary entrance off of Route 1 to Wawa, Lefty’s, DP&L’s power station, and Dartmouth Plaza. Solutions IPEM was contracted by Wawa to design the road. The project had a lot of moving parts and required intense coordination – all the owners had to agree to and approve the plan, and a portion of the project was state-funded, and therefore required additional coordination with State Agencies and politicians. Solutions IPEM provided this coordination in addition to our boundary and topographic surveying, land planning, and site engineering services.
