Architectural Draftsperson
Georgetown, Delaware
Immediate opening for entry level Architectural Draftsperson. Full time preferred but Part time considered.
We are looking for a Drafter to work with our team of Architects and Engineers to convert designs into technical plans. Drafter responsibilities include preparing drawings and specifications from sketches, notes, details and/or verbal instructions. Ultimately, you’ll help us build functional, secure and well-designed products and structures that meet our needs.
Responsibilities
Liaise with architects and engineers to gather product and structural requirements and designs
Create detailed designs with Revit software
Prepare and review rough sketches and review them along with the design team
Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards
Skills
Proven work experience as a Drafter or similar role
Hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit software
Familiarity with 3D modeling and rendering tools
Good math and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Degree in Engineering, Architecture or degree from a technical college
Additional certification from the American Design Drafting Association (ADDA) is a plus
Survey - Field Personnel
Salisbury, Maryland
Immediate openings for Field Personnel with 5 years experience to join our Survey Department. These are full time, year round positions.
Job Description:
Conducting surveys including but not limited to Topographic Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Construction Stakeout, As-Built Surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, and FEMA Flood Elevation Certificate Surveys
Responsible for the general maintenance of survey equipment and supplies
Knowledgeable in commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures of land surveying
Preferred - Experience in survey instrument use and general maintenance (Level, Total Station, GPS Receiver, Field Data Collector)
Experience in map and plan interpretation
Preferred - Technical school or collegiate training/coursework
Reliable, self-motivated person with a grasp of mathematics and strong work ethic
Outdoor work environment in a variety of weather & site conditions, year-round
Must be able to lift & carry 40+ pounds
CAD Designer/DRAFTER
Salisbury, Maryland/Georgetown, Delaware
The CAD Designer will be working on residential and commercial projects in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications and skills required can include but may not be limited to:
Proficient with AutoCAD.
Knowledge of site/roadway layout, topographic surveys, utility, profiling, grading, earthwork calculations, and erosion control plans.
Ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and documents.
Ability to review and complete redlines.
Possess problem solving and organizational skills.
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office programs.
Requirements:
A two-year associates degree is preferred
5-10 years AutoCAD job related experience
Experience in commercial, residential or mixed-use site and subdivision
Experience with SWM, Grading, ESC & Utility design
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Valid Driver’s License.
CIVIL ENGINEER
Salisbury, Maryland/Georgetown, Delaware
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Immediate opening for a Civil Engineer with 3+ of experience (PE or EIT preferred). Responsibilities of this position will include hands-on land planning, site layout and grading, stormwater management, roadway design for commercial, residential, and projects, preparation of construction plans, quantity and cost estimates, and drainage and utility layout for these projects. Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple priorities throughout the life of the project. Review agency experience desirable.
